Meet S.B. Fischer

S.B. Fischer, known as Shelly to her friends and family, has been drawing since she was able to pick up a crayon. She has created many original characters including those in the Fort Cyprus Bysto series, as well as the one-panel comic "Marlow and Mondo." She is currently working on her first full-length novel, Into the Void, and is now in school for graphic design.

The "Marlow and Mondo" comic started as a way to pass the time during busy work days in a photography studio. The adventurous cat caught on, and soon became an office favorite. The one-panel comic followed, in which Marlow cosplays as his favorite celebrities, and even creates his own catnip coffee, known as World's Finest.  

​When Shelly is not drawing, she enjoys knitting and making jewelry. She also collects anime figurines and other anime-related collectibles. She lives in St. Louis, MO with her husband and cat.
